"Mommy Bear" is a brand new cozy cabin built in 2023~ located in the famous Chalet Village. Trees surround this home which makes you feel as if you were in your own personal treehouse. Our home is about 5 minutes from everything Gatlinburg has to offer: Ober Mountain, skiing, hiking, downtown Gatlinburg, Anakeesta, Aquarium, Sky Bridge and more.

This cozy home is located in the famous Chalet Village community which offers access to three swimming pools, Pickle Ball and Tennis Courts.

We are excited to present "Mommy Bear" cabin to you. While this cabin was being built "Mommy Bear" and her three cubs would visit the owner which only made sense to name it after her.

When you walk in you will be greeted with a beautiful cozy space. Here you will find a very inviting great room with modern cabin decor. Relax in front of the fireplace or TV on our brand new comfy sectional. (Full size sofa bed located in sectional).

We know everyone loves their pets however this home is a "No Pet" home.

Our kitchen comes fully stocked with brand new stainless steel appliances. We have everything you need to make a home cooked meal.. except for the food~

Enjoy family meals around the table in front of the large windows looking out to the beautiful woodsy mountain scenery. Dining room table seats eight comfortably with additional seating for four on the kitchen bar.

Primary Suite:
King Bed- Private bath with walk in shower. Westinghouse Roku smart TV with all your favorite apps.

Queen bunk ensuite:
Queen over Queen bunks, full attached bath with tub. Westinghouse Roku smart TV with all your favorite apps.

Game area/ Bunkroom:
Located off the living room. This area offers additional sleeping with a set of twin bunks. Enjoy a friendly game of pool or have fun playing on our arcade game.

Hallway Bath:
Full bath with tub.

Deck:
4 Person hot tub. Relax after a long day of hiking, shopping or just because. Our hot tub won't disappoint!

Outdoor Area:
Love to BBQ? We have installed a brand new charcoal grill. (charcoal not provided) Enjoy eating your fresh grilled food outside on our picnic table.
Wood burning firepit --- Smores anyone??? Nothing completes a mountain getaway other than sitting around the fire eating smores and creating long lasting memories with your loved ones.
Games: Cornhole

Laundry Area:
Never come home from vacation with dirty clothes again. Stackable washer/dryer provided. To get you started we provided you with a few laundry pods. Iron available.

Mommy Bear is located in the famous Chalet Village located off Ski Mountain Road in Gatlinburg. Chalet Village offers 3 seasonal community pools, playgrounds, tennis courts (open year round) with exceptional views, event facilities and more.

Spending a day in downtown Gatlinburg is a breeze. With Ober Mountain being less than 5 minutes away you can park and take the famous tram cart down. Spend the entire day walking, shopping and exploring all the beautiful things Gatlinburg has to offer and at the end of the day just take the tram right back up to your beautiful chalet home.

Cancellation policy

Direct: Full refund for cancellations made 60 prior to check in. 50% refund 30 days prior to check in. All credit card processing fees will be deducted from refund.
All direct bookings are required to purchase "Property Damage Protection" (plans start at $59 for $1500 coverage) or pay a $500 deposit. Please be on the lookout for that email. Insurance must be paid for before door code will be given. Thank you for your understanding.
